Leanne uses virtual reality to make people feel vulnerable. Breaking your expectations with visual, auditory and tactile hallucinations as well as strange smells. ▼ see below for links & more ▼ The project is called Lose Your Mind. During a six minute virtual reality session, the participant is subjected to experiences which attempt to mimic acute psychotic symptoms while they try to pay attention to a teacher at the front of the class. After the session, participants are asked a series of questions relating to what the teacher was actually saying. Most people fail to take in any important information at all due to all of the distractions. The group will then go through a series of exercises designed to show them that we all want the same things: we all want to feel valued and we all want to feel heard.
